London Buddhist Vihara - Leading centre for Theravada Buddhism. Formed in 1926 by Anagarika Dharmapala, the Vihara was the first Buddhist monastery to be established outside the continent of Asia. It has continued its missionary activities with resident bhikkhus (monks) from Sri Lanka throughout this period, with the exception of the 1940s due to World War II.

The Buddhist Society - The Object of the Society is to publish and make known the principles of the major Buddhist Schools and traditions and to encourage the study and practice of those principles. Today, still faithful to its Objects, the Buddhist Society provides classes and courses in the teachings of the major Buddhist traditions, as well as a general introduction to Buddhism and its historical development.

Washington Buddhist Vihara - Endeavoring to share the knowledge of the Dhamma of the Buddha, the Washington Buddhist Vihara, from it is very inception, has supported a policy that goes beyond ethnic and cultural boundaries. Though people of many nationalities frequent the Vihara, all regular services are conducted in the English language.

Great Lakes Buddhist Vihara - The Great Lakes Buddhist Vihara reflects the hopes, aspirations and energies of a tiny community of Buddhists primarily in the Michigan Great Lakes region and in southern Ontario. Our Temple is committed to disseminate Buddhist teachings in the region and to provide emotional or spiritual help to people of any faith.
