The Vihara is open everyday to all the devotees and visitors from 6.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m. Details regarding the Vihara's activities of the day are displayed on the notice boards in the main hall. A monk or an attendant is usually present to provide additional information and assistance to the new comers.
Bhikkhu Training program:
BBBC had organized an ordination ceremony for the novices (Shramaner) hailing from the different communities. After 1 year of training, 17 Sramaneras were sent to Sri-Lanka for further studies.
Saturday Dhamm Class:
Buddhist Dhamma Class is held every Saturday from 7.00 am to 10 .30 am.
Buddha Puja (preaching & blessing ceremony):
It is being held every Full moon days and Half moon days (Astami days) of the month from 7.00 am to 9.00 am.
Free Health Service Room:
This is for the poor people. Health examination is done and medicines are dispensed free of cost. It is open every Friday & Saturday from 8 A.M to 12.00 P.M. Periodically, free Health Camp is also conducted for the village people.
Scholarship has been arranged for the needy, poor & intelligent children with due focus on orphans. At the present 50, poor children are receiving scholarship through Buddha Bhumi Maha Vihar.
Periodically, this Maha Vihar conducts free vocational training for the youth.
When possible, English volunteers are invited by Buddha Bhumi Maha Vihar to teach English in the village schools and to the non-school going children.
Temple Stay Program:
Temple stay program is available for those interested. Wel-come to temple stay program for the locals and the foreigners.
Meditation Course :
Meditation Courses are held at 5 to 6 P.M. on every Saturdays.
